Abrasive/ Sand Blasting of Steel

Kenitex Coatings SA offers Sandblasting and Abrasive blasting services for the purpose of surface preparation in the corrosion protection process of steel. We also make use of sandblasting in the preparation process of corroded steel and IRB roof sheets before the sealing and coating process that follows. Our teams are equipped and trained to carry out on site sandblasting with our mobile compressors and sandblasting equipment.

Safety is always a priority with any Kenitex project, and therefore we ensure that our staff are trained and certified at ‘working at heights’ and medically fit to perform their required tasks. Our project teams are all skilled and trained to perform their specific functions, including specialised spray applications, and are specially selected for each project based on their experience and skill set.
